How to scramble an egg

Scrambling eggs is not complicated and does not take many ingredients. They are quick to rustle up and nutritious as well as flavorful.

What makes scrambled eggs even better is that you can add many other ingredients to them so one meal is never the same as the next.

Modify the meal by adding grated cheese, different herbs, salsas, and cooked vegetables, and you will have a filling delicious meal in no time at all.

Recipe

2 eggs

Pinch salt and pepper

1 Tablespoon butter

  1. In a small bowl whisk the eggs, salt, and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Pour the eggs into the frying pan and reduce the heat to medium low.
  4. As the eggs begin to set use a spatula to move the mixture across the bottom of the pan. This will form large curds.
  5. Cook until the mixture is thickened, and no visible liquid remains, but do not let it become too dry.
  6. Remove from the heat and lift onto serving dish.

You can sprinkle grated cheese on the eggs when they are finished cooking.

Cooked vegetables can be added as you cook the eggs.

For creamier eggs you can add 2 Tablespoons of milk or cream.
