Hello, my name is Courtney Chandler and I have been looking into working with the elderly as I am very dedicated in to making peoples lives as happy as they can be. People only ave one chance to live so I feel that it is imperative for them to make the most of it. I will try and help them outlook the negatives and over-weigh them with positives, starting with keeping a smile on their faces. Doing this doesn't only ensure that they have a good day but it also makes me feel good about myself that I was able to make someone else happy even when bad odds are fighting against them. Even simple activities like watching their favourite documentaries with them or playing scrabble, I will ensure to make them have a good day and go to bed happy and looking forward to when they wake up. Building a bond with people and being there making them happy is imperative for a healthy life, especially when they don't have these luxuries from family members.
