Work History
Care Support Worker- April 2022-Current Alcedo Care
As a care support worker for Alcedo care, I have worked in a supported living
house that has 4 complex clients. Two of which are PEG fed, one of the
clients that I mainly work with in the house has a very rare condition called
CPS Deficiency. Along with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Chrohn’s Disease,
non-mobile, non-vocal. Working alongside this client I have had training within
the company and have been signed off on PEG feeding and Medication
administration. I am also signed off on Buccal training for epilepsy. I started
working as a care support worker as I wanted a change in career after doing
dental nursing for 10+years. I really enjoy working in care support work and
believe I am a good care support worker.
