I'm an experienced professional carer from Portugal, I moved to the UK in 2005. I have a kind and caring nature. After caring for family member decided to pursue a career in care. I have since gained experience working in residential homes and domiciliary care. I am passionate about my role as a carer and enjoy working with clients on a one to one basis; I believe that enabling the elderly to remain independent and living in their own home is the best way of providing care. I have a genuine desire to help people and find it rewarding being able to build personal relationships, while improving the quality of the lives of my clients.
I like having the opportunity to meet people from various backgrounds, whose lives are full of experiences to share. I also enjoy the fact that I can bring some joy into their lives, by simply being attentive to their needs. I am friendly and open-minded. I enjoy documentaries, music, dancing, socialising and eating out.
