- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation, including driving to appointments or social activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client status to the appropriate personnel.
- Support clients with case management tasks, liaising with healthcare professionals as needed.
Experience
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial.
- 3 Years experience in Live In Care
- A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients. ( business use insurance is needed)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential.
- A compassionate nature and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care are crucial for success in this role.
