Live In Carer in Buxton

A family based in Dorset is looking for a full time live in carer. They need someone who has a calming and soft nature and has past experiences with Alzheimer’s. It would also be ideal if the carer can drive.

Working hours: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off or 1 week on 1 week off, 12 hours per day with minimum of 2 hours break

Duties include:

• encourage and support him
• drive
• encourage him to take part in positive cognitive activities either in the house or in the community
• make sure the house is clean and tidy
• laundry to be done
• his clothes to be iron and tidy
• cooking duties as required or accompany him to restaurants

They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. The ideal start date is on the 30th of January.
