Live In Carer in Buxton

A full time live in carer position has become available in Buxton where the candidate will be mainly in charge of assisting an elderly client with many elements of their daily routine.

Working hours: 6 days a week; 12 hours a day with breaks; 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off

Duties include:

• providing companionship
• assisting with personal care such as showering
• continence management
• giving out medication
• preparing meals and snacks
• running errands such as grocery shopping
• accompanying to appointments
• going out on short walks around the neighbourhood
• managing the daily budget
• light housekeeping when needed
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable

They require someone with a valid UK Residence Permit. They need someone who can start as soon as possible.
