Live-in Care Assistant - West Sussex

Paragon Home Healthcare are looking for a Live-in Carer for a lovely lady who has a spinal cord injury and is partially paralysed. She lives independently in a colourful, well-adapted home in West Sussex, with the support of a live-in carer and personal assistants. She needs a carer to help and support her with daily activities as she slowly reconnects with her community again after a stay in hospital.

The client is very organised and likes things to be neat and tidy. She takes great pride in keeping her home clean and well-arranged. She loves painting, and her home is full of colour and creativity. The ideal carer will be someone who understands her need for order and can help maintain a calm and well-organised environment.

With this client, you'll be engaged in a 3-week live-in assignment, succeeded by a 3-week rest period. Following 1-week rest, you have the option to work with another client for 1 week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.

Live-In Care Job Overview

As a Carer (sometimes referred to as a Personal Assistant), you will assist the client with daily care, activities of daily living, and mobility needs. Specific duties will be detailed in the Client's care plan and daily activities, managed through our electronic visit system. Responsibilities include personal care, spinal injury toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, and more. Comprehensive training and support are provided to ensure you can deliver the necessary care.
