Live-in Care Assistant-Devon TQ4

Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Live-in Carer for a gentleman who has experienced a spinal cord injury several years ago.

The ideal candidate will assist him with daily activities in his adapted home in Paignton, Devon. This role requires someone who can help him manage his own care while supporting his independence. We are looking for a calm and kind individual who can provide reassurance and navigate his anxiety with empathy.

With this client, you'll be engaged in a 2-week live-in assignment, succeeded by a 2-week rest period. Following 1-week rest, you have the option to work with another client for 1 week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.

Payrate: £140 per day

Live-In Care Job Overview

As a Carer (sometimes referred to as a Personal Assistant), you will assist the client with daily care, activities of daily living, and mobility needs. Specific duties will be detailed in the Client's care plan and daily activities, managed through our electronic visit system. Responsibilities include personal care, spinal injury toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, and more. Comprehensive training and support are provided to ensure you can deliver the necessary care.
